Conjunctions, occultations and other “stars of Bethlehem”: The Great Jupiter and Saturn Conjunction

This December, Jupiter and Saturn will be so close in the night sky, they will appear to merge in a single "super-star". To mark the event, the Instituto de Astrofísica e Ciências do Espaço (IA) and the Porto Planetarium -  Ciência Viva Center will host an online debate, with IA researchers, about these ephemerids and their scientific and historical importance.
