Indigenous star helps to understand the past of the Milky Way

Data from satellite TESS made possible the characterization and dating of a star from the Indus constellation, allowing for a better understanding of a past galactic collision, in a study with the participation of researchers from Instituto de Astrofísica e Ciências do Espaço (IA).
