Mais perto das Estrelas (Closer to the Stars) is a monthly astronomical observation event, in the evenings of every second Thursday each month, and which has been held continuously since 2000 at the Planetário do Porto – Centro Ciência Viva.

At 9pm, the public is invited to attend a short demonstration inside the planetarium dome, where in about 10 minutes they are introduced to the sky that can be observed that night.

At the end of the demonstration, whenever the weather conditions allow, the public goes outside where they can observe the sky with telescopes.

No registration is required.
