On the 9th of May, watch the transit of Mercury with us
Starting at 12:00, in Porto and Lisboa, there will be activites open to the public, organized by Instituto de Astrofísica e Ciências do Espaço (IA), Planetário do Porto – Centro Ciência Viva and Planetário Calouste Gulbenkian – Centro Ciência Viva.
Everybody is invited to join the IA researchers to observe this rare phenomenon.
If the weather conditions allow, it will be possible to safely observe this event using telescopes with appropriate filters and talk with IA researchers, among other activities.
