What are stars? What are they made of? Where does their light come from? And what does it tell us?
Margarida Cunha, João Lima and João Mário Monteiro, researchers at the Instituto de Astrofísica e Ciências do Espaço (IA) and the University of Porto, will answer these questions and stir the audience into asking many more!
In each session, 3 IA researchers will share their fascination for Astronomy and Astrophysics in 3 short, simple and interactive talks. At the end of each talk, there will be a question and answer session.
Participants may also leave questions that will subsequently be answered by IA researchers. These questions and answers will be published in Visão Júnior magazine or on its website.
IAstro Júnior is a joint initiative run by the Instituto de Astrofísica e Ciências do Espaço (IA) and the young people’s magazine, Visão Júnior, specially designed to 7 to 12 year olds.
